“I basically died four times,” Asken said.
“My heart stopped for 20 seconds. Not ideal, I don’t know if you guys know that,” the 40-year-old continued.
“I haven’t been this light since high school wrestling. That’s crazy,” he added.

Askren has also lost a considerable amount of weight in the process and revealed that he only has a blurred memory of the entire month of June.
What Happened To Ben Askren?
The former NCAA wrestling champion had to be attended to following a severe case of pneumonia that left him hospitalised for over a month. Aksren admitted to having no profound memory of the month of June and revealed that he had to depend on his wife, Amy’s, notes to be aware of what had transpired over the month he was subjected to treatment.
