Kia aims to broaden its electric vehicle lineup over the next two years, potentially introducing a minimum of four new models
Kia India is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle range in the near future with expectations of launching at least four new models. The lineup is likely to feature an electric MPV, a pair of compact electric SUVs and the refreshed iteration of the EV6 crossover which has already been confirmed:
1. Updated Kia EV6:
Kia introduced the updated EV6 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 last month, showcasing significant design and technology enhancements. Bookings for the latest version have already begun. The refreshed model boasts a sleek curved panoramic display that merges a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The interior has also been revamped, featuring a modern two-spoke steering wheel and an advanced fingerprint scanner.

Expected to deliver a range between 400 and 450 km on a single charge, this compact e-SUV will take on competitors like the Tata Punch EV and Mahindra’s upcoming XUV 3X0 EV but no official confirmation has been made yet.

4. Kia Syros EV:

Kia’s upcoming electric compact SUV, based on the recently launched ICE Syros, could arrive in India in 2026 with a competitive price tag. Positioned above the Sonet EV, this new model will focus on delivering premium features and a spacious cabin, aiming to attract buyers looking for an upmarket yet sub-4m offering.
