Updated 2025 Triumph Speed T4 Introduced With 4 New Colours

GaadiWaadi –

Triumph Speed T4 continues to feature the 398 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 31 PS power and 36 Nm of torque

Triumph Motorcycles has introduced new colour options for its Speed T4 today in India while previous colours appear to be no longer part of the range. The 400 cc Speed T4 now comes in four triple-tone schemes: Caspian Blue with Pearl Metallic White, Lava Red Gloss with Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black with Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black with Storm Grey.

Besides the addition of new colours, a few cosmetic updates have been made. The Triumph Speed T4 is equipped with a 398 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 31 PS at 7,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. This powertrain is mated to a six-speed transmission and features a slipper clutch. The motorcycle also gets brushed steel-finished exhaust, a 3D ‘Speed T4’ emblem on the side panel, tyre stickers and coloured frame.

It boasts a dual-channel ABS system, 43 mm telescopic front forks, and manual throttle body control. The instrument console also has provision for an USB port. Recently, Triumph extended huge discounts of Rs. 18,000 for the Speed T4 as the neo-retro roadster is priced at Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the new colours are available for bookings at authorised dealer outlets.

It must be noted that the new shades look more upmarket than the old colours that were Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Phantom Black. The Speed T4 delivers higher torque output between 3,500 rpm and 5,500 rpm. This enhances rideability in lower and mid-speed ranges, minimising frequent gear shifts.

It also benefits from a 30 per cent increase in engine inertia over the Speed 400, upping stability in lower rpm levels. Triumph is also preparing a more affordable version of the Scrambler 400X which is expected to launch in the coming months.

Additionally, the Thruxton 400 has been spotted during test runs on multiple occasions, hinting at a possible launch before the closure of 2025. It will apparently have several commonalities with the Speed 400 and Scram 400X.
